Terms of Service

By accessing or using the website siran.app, the Reetbrowser extension, or any of our open-source tools (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.

Siran provides a suite of productivity tools designed to organize digital workflows. Reet is a browser extension that modifies the YouTube user interface to reduce distractions, enable playlist-based learning, and provide productivity widgets (Pomodoro timer, To-Do list) within the YouTube experience. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account used for authentication.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• Siran is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

The Services rely on the following third-party providers. By using our Services, you also agree to their respective terms and policies:

• Google / YouTube:Reet uses Google OAuth for authentication and the YouTube Data API for playlist access. Reet is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google or YouTube. YouTube’s interface may change at any time, which may temporarily or permanently affect Reet’s functionality.
• Firebase (Google): We use Firebase Auth and Firestore for account authentication and premium entitlement verification.
• Dodo Payments: We use Dodo Payments as our payment processor and Merchant of Record.

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the proprietary Reet extension.
• Use the Services for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws in your jurisdiction.
• Exploit the Services to distribute spam or malicious content.
• Abuse or exceed YouTube API rate limits through automated or excessive use of the extension.
• Circumvent or attempt to bypass the premium feature gating system.

The interface, graphics, trademarks, and proprietary code (excluding open-source components such as our Obsidian plugins) are owned by Siran. You retain all rights to the data (playlists, folders, tasks, settings) you create using our tools.

Read Carefully

The Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Use of our tools to modify third-party websites (e.g., YouTube) is done at your own risk. YouTube may change its DOM structure or API at any time without notice, and we cannot guarantee immediate compatibility fixes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Siran shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, resulting from your use of the Services or your inability to use the Services.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will cease immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) shall survive.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
